Flipping goes right…

A couple of weeks ago, early Sunday morning, I was killing some time on Ebay and stumble upon this auction that I tought was a steal, so I grabbed it.

3 Rookie Cards Lot, 2010-11 UD Black Diamond Hockey
– Tyler Seguin
– Cam Fowler
– Brendon Yip

First, the listing was not done properly, stating that these were 3 Diamond RC Cards when they are in fact Quadruple Diamond Rookies (1 per box, average).

Second, Seguin’s name was not highlighted in the auction’s title. It was there but not the center of it.

1+2 = I paid 32$ (shipping included) for the lot.

Wasting no time, I turn around and sell the Cam Fowler on a message board for 7$. That’s a good start.

And then, I list the Seguin on Ebay ending yesterday during the All Star Skills Event.

The result…

Tyler Seguin 10/11 UD Black Diamond Quad SP RC #221

Sold for 50$ + shipping.

So 50 + 7 = 57$

Remember I paid 33$ for the lot?

That’s money quickly done and, as a bonus, I have the Yip sitting in my collection.

Profit + free cards = Me LOVE Ebay.

This is one of the reasons why I love prospecting cards. The quick profit that makes a thrill to carry on.
